Known for the high energy dance experience, Pete was one of the early nightclub DJs in the San Francisco Disco scene. Pete trained in 1973 with Chico Starr and Steve Newman at California\u2019s first licensed dance nightclub, the Rendezvous was invited in early 1974 by Steve Newman to become the third ever DJ of the \u201cEndup\u201d. The mid 70\u2019s Peter was head DJ plus helped build and manage Stu Goldberg’s iconic SF club, Dance Your Ass Off<\/strong>.

Doing mobile and special event DJing though the mid 80\u2019s and 90\u2019s \u2014 finally finished as a back-up DJ at the Arena in Los Angeles.<\/p>

In 1979, Pete did the historic Disconet Remix Service remix of Viola Wills, \u201cIf You Could Read My Mind\u201d. Pete teamed with Steve Newman creating the iconic mix of Chic, \u201cLe Freak\u201d which played on San Francisco\u2019s K101 radio and in clubs from Los Angeles to Seattle.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The 36 song performance called \u201cDiscology 101<\/a><\/strong>\u201d was created from a 3 hour live show performed at the \u201cUniversal Sheraton\u2019s Loading Dock\u201d \u2013 AALA Roundup\u2019s Loading Dock Disco in 2002. This final 80 minute super chopped version, including added microKORG instrumentation, was mixed-down in 2004 with additional work finished in 2008. Here she is remastered in 2017 and uploaded to hearthis.at for your enjoyment and download.<\/p>
